There seems to be a general truth about cats: give them one bowl of food each, and they will eat the other’s food. Or, in this case, give them a cup of water each, and Riker will decide to drink from Odin’s cup.
Another truth about cats: if you are walking from Point A to Point B, a cat will run in front of you and start rolling in your path.
Why get into the cat run when you could stand on top of the cat run?
Riker in mid air trying to grab a just-pruned grape vine branch from my hands. Odin is looking on with surprise.
You know it’s cold when even super-fluffy Riker hunches up in the vicinity of the heater vent.
And this, one of my favourite recent photos of Odin: he wanted to play with Riker. Riker got grumpy and snapped at Odin. So Odin climbed into the washing basket to sulk. It’s like living with furry toddlers.
